Settings
Initial setting method
Refer to the following, and perform the initial settings according to the screen.
- What you need for initial setting

There are two ways for initial setting.
❶ Set up using your bankbook or cash card and a confirmation code.
Bankbook or cash card An environment where you can receive notifications. - Please have your bankbook or cash card handy.
- To confirm your identity, a confirmation code will be sent to the phone number registered on your account. Please register the app in an environment where you can receive notifications.
❷ Set up using the「Yucho authentication app」
If you plan to use the remittance and payment functions of the 「Yucho Bankbook app」, you can also make initial settings in the 「Yucho authentication app」.
If you install and register in advance, you can set it by omitting STEP 4 ~ 6.

Confirmation of terms of service
Check the contents and if you agree, tap 「同意する」(Agree).

Input account information
Enter the account code number, name in katakana, and date of birth.

Choose how you want to verify your identity
Tap「暗証番号と電話番号で確認」(Confirm PIN code and a confirmation code).

- If you use Yucho authentication app to verify identity, tap「ゆうちょ認証アプリで確認」(Confirm using 「Yucho authentication app」).
Input PIN code
Enter PIN code for your cash card.

Publish confirmation code
Please check your phone number and tap「確認コードを発行する」(A 5-digit confirmation code will be sent to the phone number registered on your account).

Input your confirmation code
Enter your 5-digit confirmation code.

- To confirm your identity, a confirmation code will be sent to the phone number registered on your account.
- If you do not receive the notifications, please see Frequently Asked Questions.
- If the phone number is a landline phone, you will be notified by automatic voice, and if it is a mobile phone, you will be notified of the "confirmation code" (5-digit number) by SMS (Short Message Service).
Passcode setting
Enter the 4-digit passcode required when launching the app.

- Android users also have the option of setting a pattern.
Biometric setting
If you want to use biometrics (finger/face) when starting the app, continue setting.

- If biometrics is not registered on your device, it will not be displayed.
Initial setting completed

Home screen settings
You can customize the items displayed on the home screen.
Please refer to the following and make settings that match the content you want to use.

Tap the three lines at the top left of the home screen to open the side menu.

Tap 「アプリ設定」(App Settings) to move to the App Settings screen.

Tap「ホーム設定」(Home Settings)to move to the Home Settings screen.

Tap 「+」 for items you want to display on the home screen, and tap 「-」 for items you do not want to display.

For example, if you want to hide the 「猫・メッセージ」(cat・message)、display 「投資信託」(investment trusts) and 「最近のお取引明細」(recent transaction details), the screen will be as follows.

After completing the settings, return to the home screen of the App. Customization is complete.

If you want to hide the current balance on the home screen, tap the 「表示」(display).

The current balance is hidden as shown below.

Money management・Check balance etc.
Balance check
When you launch the app, the home screen will be displayed and you can check the current balance.

Deposit/withdrawal details check
Tap「明細」(Details) on the home screen to move to the details screen.


On the details screen, you can check the monthly deposit/withdrawal details. To switch the displayed month, follow the steps below.


Income and expenditure check
Tap「グラフ」(Graph)on the home screen to move to the balance graph screen.


The monthly deposit is displayed in graph. Tap 「出金」(Withdrawal) to display the expenditure, and tap「月末残高」(Monthly balance) to display the balance at the end of the month in graph.


Asset management
Tap「資産運用」(Asset Management) on the home screen to move to the asset management screen.

You can check the details of each product・service by tapping each button.

Remittance・Deposit and withdrawal
Remittance
- What you need for remittance

Tap 「送金」(Remit) on the home screen to move to the remittance method selection screen.

After selecting the remittance method, proceed with the input according to the screen.

When you reach the confirmation screen, select the authentication method and tap it.

The remittance is complete when the authentication with「Yucho Authentication App」is complete.

Registration for using COTRA
To use COTRA, you must register in advance from the Yucho Bankbook App.
Refer to the steps below, and perform the registration for using according to the screen.
What is COTRA?
- If you have multiple accounts registered in the Yucho Bankbook App, you will need to register for each account.
Tap「送金支払」(Remit and pay) on the home screen to move to the method selection screen.

Tap「ことら送金」(COTRA) .

Check the overview of the COTRA remittance and tap 「ことら送金の利用を開始」(start using COTRA) .

Check the contents and if you agree, tap 「同意する」(agree) .

Check the account number you want to register and tap 「開始」(start) .

That's all.

COTRA remittance method

Here, we will introduce remittance using mobile phone number or email address as an example.

Enter the required information and tap「確認」(confirm).

After proceeding to the remittance confirmation screen, select the authentication method and tap.

If the authentication of 「Yucho authentication app」 is complete, the remittance is complete.

ATM deposit and withdrawal

- It only be used at Japan Post ATMs.
Tap 「送金支払」(Remit and pay) on the home screen to move to the method selection screen.

Tap「ATM入出金」(ATM deposit and withdrawal) to display the screen to scan the QR code and move on to ATM operations.

Tap「WITHDRAWAL」button at the ATM.

- As an example, I will explain the operation procedure of 「WITHDRAWAL」.
Tap「SMARTPHONE」button at the ATM.

Enter the amount you want to withdraw at the ATM and finally tap the「YEN」button.

When the QR code is displayed on the ATM screen, move on to the reading operation of the「Yucho Bankbook app」(STEP07).
* Please be careful not to tap the「NEXT」button at this time.

Hold up the QR code reading screen of the「Yucho Bankbook app」launched in STEP02 and scan the QR code displayed on the ATM screen.

When authentication with「Yucho Authentication App」is completed, the following screen will be displayed.Tap「QRコード送信」(Send QR code)to complete the operation of the「Yucho Bankbook app」. Go back to ATM operation.

- The limit of the amount that can be withdrawn can be set in the range of 0~100,000 yen. The default setting is 50,000 yen.
- When making a deposit, you do not need to authenticate with「Yucho authentication app」.
Tap「NEXT」button at the ATM.

If the amount displayed on the ATM screen is correct, tap「ENTER」button.

Cash can be collected from an ATM.

Tap 「口座情報の確認・変更」(Confirm・Change account information) to move to the account information screen.

Tap the account for which you want to check the details to move to the account information management screen.

You can change your address and phone number from the 「変更」(change) button on the upper right. Select the information you want to change and follow the instructions to enter the required information.

Application for bankbook-free account switching
Tap the button below on the home screen to move to 「無通帳型総合口座について」(About bankbook-free integrated account)./p>

Tap 「無通帳総合口座に切替」(Switch to bankbook-free general account) at the bottom of the moved screen to move to the account selection screen.

Select the account that you want to switch to bankbook-free and follow the instructions to complete the procedure.

Account that has been switched to bankbook-free will be displayed as 「通帳無」(No bankbook) in the 「種別」(Type) field on the home screen.

ATM biometric authentication

Tap the three lines at the top left of the home screen to open the side menu.

Tap 「ATM生体認証」(ATM biometric authentication) to move to the ATM biometric authentication screen.

Tap「利用申込」(Application for use), select the authentication method and tap.

If the authentication of 「Yucho authentication app」 is complete, the application is complete.
If you want to start trade, Tap 「ATM生体認証メニューへ」(Move to ATM biometric authentication menu).

Tap「取引開始」(Start trade),select the authentication method and tap.

If the authentication of「Yucho authentication app」is complete, the trade can be started.
You must trade within 15 minutes.Please use an IC cashcard and operate at an ATM.
