Notes regarding use

  • Customers using Japan Post Bank's integrated accounts (ordinary deposit ・ordinary savings deposit) can use the app.

    *It cannot be used for transfer, corporate, or other account types.

  • Your account code number, name in katakana, date of birth, cash card PIN, and phone number* are required for registration.

    *To confirm your identity, a confirmation code will be sent to the phone number registered on your account. If your registered phone number is a landline phone, you will be notified by an automated voice call, and if you are a mobile phone, you will be notified by SMS (Short Message Service). Please register in an environment where you can receive notifications. You may change your registered phone number at any Japan Post Bank ATM. If an old phone number is registered to your account, please update your phone number before using the app.

  • Please do not tell your confirmation code to anyone else.
  • You can register up to 2 bank accounts* in the app.

    *Only if the account holder’s name is the same.

  • You can log in with your passcode (4 digits) or biometric authentication (fingerprint/face).

    *Android users also have the option of logging in using pattern authentication.

  • When registering, if you enter your cash card PIN incorrectly with a certain number of times, you will need to complete the procedure for "erasing the times of entering wrong PIN" at the counter.
  • If you abolish or reapply for Yucho Direct, you need to re-register the app. Deposit/withdrawal details cannot be obtained until you re-register the app or complete the re-application procedure for Yucho Direct.
  • Please note that the app cannot be used any more when setting adult guardians, etc.
  • You can use the app for free, but you are responsible for the data communication charges required for the download.
  • From 23:55 to 0:05 of the next day, you cannot register the app.
  • When remitting, if only the holder’s name of remittance destination account is confirmed multiple times and the remittance is not completed, the function of displaying the remittance destination account holder name will stop. In that case, you will need to input the holder’s name of the remittance destination account by yourself. For the input method, please checkthe input method of the remittance destination account holder name and requester name.
    In addition, in order to be able to display the remittance destination account holder's name again, Procedures for resuming the display of the remittance destination account holder name at the counter are required.
