In recent years, AI technologies have become indispensable for the development of society and businesses, the utilization of AI requires addressing ethical issues and risks.
Against this background, Japan Post Group established the Japan Post Group AI Policy with the aim of further promoting AI utilization and strengthening the governance system that supports it.
This Policy comprises five elements: "Ethical AI Utilization", "Safe and Secure AI Utilization", and "Responsible AI Utilization" set forth basic policies for measures against AI risks, while "AI Utilization Education" and "Creation of Innovation Utilizing AI" outline basic policies for AI utilization.
As a member of the Japan Post Group, Japan Post Bank is actively enhancing the utilization of AI based on this Policy, with the aim of improving customer experience and delivering greater value.
