September 2006 Yucho Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of JAPAN POST HOLDINGS Co., Ltd., established as a preparatory company for JAPAN POST BANK Co., Ltd.
October 2007 JAPAN POST GROUP established following the privatization. Changed trade name to JAPAN POST BANK Co., Ltd.
