You can withdraw money with the credit card or cash card published by the overseas institution in Japan Post Bank ATMs.

The card which can be used
Japan Post Bank provides cash withdrawal services for credit cards and cash cards issued by overseas financial institutions.Cards bearing the VISA, PLUS, Mastercard, Maestro, Cirrus, JCB, China Unionpay and DISCOVER can make withdrawals at Japan Post Bank ATMs.

The cards above can be used at Japan Post Bank ATMs.
You can use in all the Japan Post Bank ATMs in Japan.
ATM operating hours at year end/New Year’s, Golden Week, etc.
During long holidays such as year end/New Year’s and Golden Week, ATM operation hours may differ from the information provided on sources such as the Japan Post Bank website due to system updates and circumstances at ATM installation sites.

- Service hours change with ATM.Some ATMs may not be accessible depending on location.
- Even if it is handling within a time of ATM, there is a case where it cannot deal with the card of use.
For details, please ask the card issue financial institution. - When using certain cards issued abroad, an ATM usage fee (\220 (tax included) per use) may apply.
- In addition to the aforementioned fee , a prescribed fee set by your card issuing financial institution may also apply. For details, please consult with your card issuing financial institution.
- When using certain cards issued abroad to withdraw cash (Japanese yen), you may finalize the settlement amount in the currency of the country where your card was issued (Examples: U.S. dollars, euros, etc.).
(Ordinarily, the settlement amount is finalized when the amount of the credit card transaction is billed to the customer.) - Single transaction withdrawal limit is 50,000 yen.
